Traffic Operators

Due to significant growth Montgomery Transport is seeking to strengthen their operations team and is looking for experienced proactive Traffic Operators to be based in Preston.

The successful applicants will become integral players in the traffic office assisting in the management of a large commercial fleet of vehicles and drivers throughout the UK and Ireland. These positions will involve the successful candidates in daily vehicle and driver management interaction and associated administration.

Applicants should be aware that due to the nature of the industry they must be prepared, within current legislation, to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working hours, weekend work and holiday cover. It is essential applicants have two years experience in a commercial traffic planning environment, be fluent in both written and spoken English and while not essential, a CPC qualification would be an advantage.

C+E Drivers (HGV 1)

Montgomery Transport Limited is seeking to recruit experienced C+E drivers to work from the Preston Depot.

Applicants must possess digital tacho card and be fluent in both written and spoken English. Have a good geographical knowledge, be of good character of neat and tidy appearance and have an interest in doing the job right first time.
